yo, i think in order to stay true to hip hop, you should stay true to yourself. It's okay to keep in touch with the fashion trends, but try to be original and not put so much emphasis on the style of dress. That's just my opinion.

But on a different note, what's up with Aussie Hiphop, how can I hear some of that?

Check out Downsyde...probably Australia's best hip-hop artists at the moment (IMO). There are a few tracks you can download on their homepage:

Pfft...no we don't. There's no way they'd bring that here because they probably don't see a market for it here. Sure would be good if we did get it though. Our dose of hip-hop/R&B comes on MTV like Yo! and Soul Kitchen (is that on MTV or on Channel V (another music station)).

Anyway, I personally think that do-rags are too fake here in Australia. You're pushing it over the top if seen with that and it's strictly for the states (or if you're genuinely from the states). That's just my opinion.

Yeah that's true...if people here wear things like that, others think they are tryhard dickheads...and most of the time they are.
