The Carpenters easily. Karen's Heaven sent voice and Richard's arrangements are spectacular. They are still hugwely popular throughout the world, and still sell about 3 million units per year, every year.

Hi aladinsane, you remind me of me. I love a mixed bag of music some of my favorites are The carpenters, david Bowie, Brian Eno, donna Summer, Adrian Belew, King Crimson, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Jason Mraz, The Strokes, B-52's, Stevie Wonder, etc.
Variety is the spice of life.

Hey RRRRR!
I agree, variety is the way to go. I like all the artists you mentioned above, especially Eno...kudos to you, not many people know of his solo works.
I just picked up the remasters of most of Stevie Wonders 70's work, man talk about some incredible music. I could listen to Innervisions till the cows come home!
Thanks for the links!
