Headphones...

Hey,
I was wondering if someone could help me by maybe recommending some good, solid, and quality headphones for around $150...If they exist...

I have been lookin around and was gonna just buy a pair from Sony, but thought maybe someone here would have some good advice.

I mainly would be using them for listening from my MP3 player, and comp...but I want a good, quality pair...
Any help would be appreciated...Thanks

Sennheiser makes really good headphones too. I've been using the HD570 model found here (about $100), but they make a wide variety from $40 on up to pro-studio grade.

Yeah, they're not bad. I've had these for over a year and they're perfect for the money.

Check the Amazon reviews as well, Orin. That's another way to get objective first hand accounts before buying.

Go for Sennheiser...they're the best quality headphones for price you can get.

I haven't tried the HD570 yet, but I have heard the sony mdr-700s, I would highly recomend them, The bass frequencies are great in them, and they can handle a high volume. Great set!

I did some research on headphones late last year and came to the conclusion that Sennheiser were the best buy for around that price range you are asking. The only problem was that they looked a bit odd to me but if looks aren't a problem, go for them. This is their web site by the way if you're interested in them. I think you may find them a lot cheaper in the US too because they are made in America (I think...I'm pretty sure they are. It doesn't matter anyway because they are pretty cheap and reliable...great quality too).
