well, those german men/robots were really ahead of its time. the concept itselt wasn't new because it was in a lot of sci-fi stories. but no one at the time really expressed that in music. let me know if I am wrong on that.

My bf was wondering if there are any dvds around about kraftwerk, he's been searching for them al around Belgium, but they don't seem to excist. Any ideas?

I haven't seen any videos or DVDs from Kraftwerk in the US. I have seen live albums and that's about it.

That would be cool if they did have a DVD out. I mean, they're not that obscure, so you'd think they would have one out.

I keep imagining their videos are a lot like that one eighties video on MTV... where it's setin early computer graphics, where everything is box- like. Shite I forgot the name of it. "money ain't for nothing" or something along those lines.

oh you mean like that Dire Strait video "money for nothing" or something. yeah, that really early kind of computer generated animation. but I think they may look like their web site, everything in wire frame.
