My guess is that Kraftwerk won't sound the same as there has been such a huge gap between recording times but they will still have the same elements that made them what they are. I don't think they'll sound similar to other music though...they'll keep their uniqueness about them.

That's my opinion anyway.

electronic music has evolved into so many genres and is still evolving. here is my conflict or question: would they still produce something similar to their old songs, or would they produce something entirely different?

I agree, they are too unique to sound like other people's music. so I am not too worried about that.

of course, I can't have the answer until I hear the new album. so I am kinda crossing my fingers on that.

it would probably be somewhere in the middle . a mix of some of some of the old , with some new stuff . one thing that's certain , it can't suck as much as the new moby .

You have a point there! When I bought that single East Side, I couldn't believe that Gwen Stefani was on it. I was so repulsed, I refused to buy any of his CD's after that, not that I'm a big fan anyway. I'll leave that to Evilmatik, he's got the Moby monopoly =)

I stopped buying moby stuff after Play. his music just doesn't do it for me anymore. and I do listen to Kraftwerk's The Mix much more than any moby's album.

debauchery, are you making fun of me?

I've only heard Kraftwerk's version of Popcorn, I like it, but their style isn't too original. still pretty good though
