Heh, well... let's just say the first trip I ever took into Ottawa was by acr. And The Bear (Local radio) had a contest: "Who can sing an Alanis song with a banana in their mouth". Does that give you an idea of what she spent her entire high school career doing? She may as well have been an altargirl with all that time on her knees....

She had a good debut album, everything else after was pretty forgettable. Somewhere along the way I think she got an overbloated sense of herself. She is VERY overrated.

Album sales must have gone to her fat, Canadian head........

I haven't listened to anything but the first album, wich i thought was pretty good. She seems like an odd artist to me, wich is good in my opinion. But I don't know about her recent stuff, all I've heard is the ocasional radio single.

now whever I hear her I'm going to think about bananas!!!!

extra overrated... especially where she got fame twice... her first album came out in like 88 (as canadian competition to tiffany/debbie gibson)... jagged little pill is probably the only decent thing she's released and i still don't want a copy...

i must admit the new album was rubbishy.

Apart from her first album, she hasn't really got any attention in Australia so in that sense she's not too overated.

I guess it's a good pop/rock album, but that style doesn't do it for me anymore

I think shes ok.... maybe a little overrated but i really like her music...
