Super Furry Animals

The super furries are the kind of band that have always had plenty of that elcusive cool factor....splendidly laid-back dose of orchestral welsh indie-pop.... and their album fuzzy logic is one of my favourite albums. an album like that is always going to be a plus in my list.
anyone like em?

Yeah, I wouldn't exactly call them pop,, but they do have pop elements... Either way, I do like them... We need more bands like this in the world today...

This band is blatantly political and all the better for it. I can't think of many recent bands you could say that about. They also have a tendency towards musical excess that can swallow you right up just as the lyrics are bringing those beautiful wry smiles to the surface.

They collaborated with Paul McCartney a few years back on a unfinished psychedelic instrumental (I think it was instrumental) that he messed around with in the 60's... My niece said it was very cool, but I haven't heard it... Anyone know what I am talking about??

I would say they should go under rock,,, but rock and pop cross lines a lot, so I don't think it's a big deal...
