Question Help with cooledit.

When I record in a multitrack session the realtime audio is fine (stuff coming out the speakers) but when I playback it's delayed a split second so recording a second track while playing back the first doesnt work, because it's delayed and off beat of the first when I play it back.

I know this is a computer problem but I cant figure out what the problem is, I've changed the OS and everything except the soundcard and the harddrives. Could this be a problem that the soundcard is responsible for or is it because the harddrive cant write fast enough into the temp folder?

Hey thanx alot, it seems I needed to "Correct for drift in recordings" it was the only thing I had that differed from your pic. It still has a very very small delay but it wouldnt be hard to manualy fix that.
