I know, she's not really alternative, she's more blues, jazz and some soul too, but I don't wanna class her in jazz, because she doesn't sing jazz a lot. I really like her, because she has a very
sweet voice, and because her music always has a good bass in it.

I loooove the cd "chuck E's in love" All my fav sons are on it, except for smile, which is on another cd that I don't like that much, because it's so soft. I like her swingy songs, like danny's all-star joint, chuck E's in love, easy money....hmmmmmm

I've heard several of her songs and nothing really moved me... This is one artist that I wish was featured more on internet radio... I would like to hear more of her... She sure has been a critic's darling durind her career...

One song called "easy money" I heard long before impressed me.....

She did a cool remake of "Walk Away Renee'" and has made intersting choices.

Not a fan...but "Chuck E's in Love" was catchy. It made for a nice soundtrack to my early career in the grocery store. Other than that I haven't heard anything I could even say THAT about...

I love her most for this line:

but that is from a song by dEUS... I don't think I've heard much of her own music though...

but wasn't she a friend of Tom Waits or something? (he mentions Chuck E. Weiss too on Small Change)... does her music sound anything like Waits's?
