Optometry is a very good album, indeed. I've since encountered "Nu-Bop" by Matthew Shipp. It's a very good listen. His more traditional stuff has been a little hit-or-miss with me personally.

god, I need a copy of "Equilibrium", "Nu Bop", and "New Orbit"...I'd love to have a copy of everything in Thirsty Ear's "Blue Series"...that'd be great!
