Interestingly, there has been a ton of singer/songwriters recently that are very similar to buckley, but no-one seems interested in them.

I don't really look at it as morbid...sure, he died there, but its not like his body is rotting away in that spot, now that would be a bit morbid

I suppose so. That'd be like looking at St. Bernadett of Lourdes. Hang on, I've done that!

there's also a singles box "the grace singles" released, but it costs over 30 Euros
and in the near future there should be a new posthumous release: "live at sin-é", there used to be a four track release with the same name, but that one is long sold out, this one will be a double cd, I think. Sin-é was a café in New York where young singer song writers could build up some live experience. from what I've heard it should be amazing

Buckley had one of the greatest male voices in the history of music in my opinion

have y'all given of tim buckley's music a whirl? it's amazing to hear the simarities in style and vocal range...even though they never really knew each other. There are some cuts of "Sketchs for My Sweetheart..." that remind me of Tim Buckley's music...like he was chasing his father's ghost at the time. "Starsailor" I suppose is Tim's most famous album??

I was lucky enough to have seen Jeff Buckley while living in sydney in 1995 at the Enmore theatre. He did about 2/3s of grace and the rest of the time he experimented and used his voice up. It was amazing. The hair on my arms were standing the whole time.

Yes, Tim Buckley. It's weird, I don't think they sound like each other at all, but sometimes, you can here the influences of Tim into Jeff's albums.

Never saw Jeff alive
you're so lucky!!
