Andrew Bird used to be with Squirrel Nut Zippers, and then went out on his own with this project, and it's absolutely great, old school, mostly laid back jazz, plus some folk elements mixed in. I very much like.

I'd just like to say that andrew bird is just about my favourite solo artist ever. If anyone doesn't own the mysterious production of eggs i suggest you go buy it. now.
Speaking of Hill; you know they reissued Judgement! and Nefertiti, there is also a new release coming out in early Oct. called Blue Black.

I guess you're not a fan. But satchmo! this is the greaest thing you can do with your ears! Go and see andrew bird live or watch some vids online. Seriously if you don't think its brilliant I'll not be impressed!!!
