Merzbow

So many Merzbow albums out there. Could the ones of you who own some tell me their advice about them ?
I have a few : Pulse Demon, Noisembryo, Maldoror (with Patton), Merzbox Sampler. I wondered if anyone had something from his "digital" era ?

no, not yet. I only have Gore Beyond Necropsy and some songs downloaded from the net. I like to have Merzbox though *drool*

here is a review of merzbow beat:

two reviews for a taste of merzbow:
http://pitchforkmedia.com/record-rev...taste-of.shtml
http://www.brainwashed.com/brain/brainv05i33.html (scroll down and you should see the review.)

here is another one for Ikebana: Merzbow's Amlux Rebuilt, Reused and Recycled

a review for amlux, they said it is almost dancable

the problem with many Merzbow reviews is that they are written by the label owner. I'd like to hear from the ... terminal user (?)

those reviews are by users, not label owners. the reviewers from brainwashed.com are volunteers, and the site is non-profit so it is quite alright.

but I know what you mean. it is not always as it is described by the label owners. and I also understand the problem with choosing a merzbow album to purchase cause he has just way too many. that's why I only got one album which is a used CD. haven't found many of his used CDs...
