interesting that a lot of that music is pretty depressing.

i kinda see where bora is coming from... it's the kind of music that you listen to in order to take yourself from a bad mood into a better one...

but as far as happy pop stuff that just makes a sunny day even nicer... you can NEVER go wrong with blur's 'great escape' album... maybe some jane's addiction... old red hot chili peppers (from the 80s)...

oh yeah... there's this canadian band called 'pure' they were only around for a few years in the 90s... really great pop rock band that didn't suck...

yeah, great escape is a very good album...when I feel bad, I listen to it all the time, and the old red hot chilli peppers, they get me in a REALLY good mood

gotta say my favorite chili pepper's album is STILL freaky styley from way back in 1985

yeah, that' IS the best one, I bought it a couple of years ago.

I keep going back to the old RHCP stuff, cause I hear the new stuff on the radio and it starts me thinking about when they didn't suck.

and also, i certainly understand about listening to certain things to get you out of a bad mood, i have that kind of music too. I'm more thinking about music that you turn on when you wake up on a saturday, the sun is shining, and you wanna go run around.

and what music would that be?
For me it would be jazz, but maybe I'm just old fashioned.
