It probably belongs in pop so I'll move it.

I actually haven't seen this years contest but I always enjoy watching it for the talent (or lack of). No offence but it always provides a good laugh so that's why I like it.

Those lesbians were a disapointment!

People in Austria must have no talent at all music wise...that guy was soooo bad I was crawling around on the floor laughing! This is going to give me laughs for the next week! I love Eurovision!!!

Even the winners, Turkey were really bad!

Sorry to the true Eurovision song contest lovers!

Yeah...Belgium second place...That's about 20 years ago...
Turkey wasn't that good, I thought Belgium was better, but not the best, anyway, all of the songs sucked!

in fact that's the first time Turkey is @the first raw in Eurovision,
so i'm a bit glad for that result..
that's true that all the songs are pop-based,
and away from everyones tastes in here.
my fav was Tatoo, great show i've ever seen in recent
BTW BBC anchor's wonder and
his tellings were interesting
after all:
"Europe doesn't know what it really wants"
and something like
"Its tastes has been turning to oriental stuff"..
huh...

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are

1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn

in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.
