That was what I dug about the Archies records. They were full of well crafted bubblegum tunes, well sung and well played. It was in fact very good pop music.

Music was kinda shoved down my ears as a little kid as my older brother was always playing the radio, his record player or just jamming on his guitar or piano... So most of my earliest life memories are of music... That's it... I was brainwashed into liking rocknroll...

I was only into music because I had my own radio and also mum would get me to put on music for her when she was cooking dinner or whatever. Also in the car we had the radio on.

I used to play a lot of music when I was little though but I don't think that influenced me at all.

childhood music, my father used to listen to weird stuff that no chinese I knew would listen to.

stuff like Kitaro(japanese new age composer he bought cassettes from him even before The Silk Road went popular), this cassette of this soft porn flick from europe called The Peach is Rip or something(doesn't that explain something about me? ), 2 hawaiian guys playing guitars(they are actually very nice to listen to), oldies from america... plus all that cheesy hongkong pop music.

so I was used to listen to stuff from all over the place which did me good. my father once told me that I always listen to weird stuff that no one likes. and I said it was all his fault. and he actually agreed
