Popular old rap song need ID

Hey all,

This one should be pretty easy as the song is pretty well known but I don't know the name of it. Anyway I'm pretty sure the song is from the 80's and it has a male rapper/s.

I know some of the lyrics from the chorus/start go something like this:

Hey, you, what's that sound?
Everybody look what's going round.
Ahh yes, ain't that fresh...
(another line but I've forgotten it)

Here's what I got on this...
Original song was supposedly from the 60's or so, "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield, written by Stephen Stills and directly inspired by the anti-war demonstrations in LA.

Def Leppard actually used part of these lyrics in the late 80's in a song - Don't ask me which anymore, I can't remember for the life of me at the moment...

Hopefully, that might help a tad, and I'll look more in depth for rap that holds the same lyrics. If I find anything else, I'll get back to you.

It might just be a sample of it or them doing a little bit of a cover at the start. I'm pretty sure the singers are African Americans.
