SKA: Is it just the happiest damn music you ever heard?

i think so. i have never heard a Ska song that isn't up-beat and makes me feel all good inside. i'm glad that the pop music world hasn't gotten there dirty little comercialised hands onto it and left us punks.

cos ska is bascially punk with a brass section...in my opinion.

and i love seeing live Ska music. it's the best thing to skank around with your friends. it's very up lifting music. it makes me instantly happy, listening to it.

Rocket From the Crypt is awesome, and also incorporates a lot of rock and you can tell the singer is from texas. awesome live too!!

correct. Ska is an offshoot of punk which incorporates the brass intrument sound.

I really hate ska. It really annoys me very quickly. I used to like some of it but now I can't stand it. If I hear some on the radio I'll turn it off.

In saying that, No...ska isn't the happiest music I've heard.
