That basically means that EBM is the same as industrial, in a general sort of way. Bcause that description works for most industrial, in an offhand sort of way, unless only "scary" bands qualify under EBM or something.

I dont think front 242 are scary. And most music of that kind Ive heard is not "scary". But best of all I like music that is ("""scary"""). Because in industrial/ebm parties (I dont know how you call them, In my country we call them Tombs (transslated)) you have to have strong music, with a heavy bass and a fast beat (and as loud as it can be).

nah, front 242 is not scary at all. the only industrial band that is scary is Skinny Puppy. I don't think they are EBM neither, but do check out this 2 albums Too Dark Park and Last Right. those are dark and scary.

I don't think they're scary, but people who listen to mainstream music would call stuff like Aslan Faction, Skinny Puppy, Wumpscut, Hocico, etc, scary; which is what I was referring to. It was the first adjective that came to mind.

Two Plow : you know aslan faction ? Could you name some more bands like that for me, please? Its really hard to find this things.

Hocico, Suicide Commando, Funker Vogt, Wumpscut, Le�ther Strip.

The last two are different, but some of their songs sound like Aslan's stuff. It's hard to find industrial bands that sound like others. I'm not sure how close Funker is to Aslan, but you might like them. Their songs tend to have a really good beat.
