the roots
I was wondering what people though of the roots. specifically in light of the new album which i only recently got. my first thought was that roots fans would either love it or hate it. I think the album is good music, but definitly not what the average roots fan would expect. I'm guesing that alot of people were a bit surprised by it. i was, though pleasantly.
I especially like "something in the way of things". very nice.

I got The Roots new album and I haven't really given it much of a chance but from the few listens I've given it I don't really like it. It's nothing special in my opinion but it's not really that bad either. I guess I should listen to it a bit more but it's not really shouting for me to do so either.
Average is my response.

Yeah, Roots is great band. But new album is dissapoiting, not enuff good moments on it. "Do You Want More??!!??", "illadelph halflife" and "Things Fall Apart" are great albums.

Roots has amazing Intelligent poetic lyrics and laid-back hip-hop braggadicio feeling.

This album seems to be overly experimental, but still not bad.

The only useful tip any teacher ever gave me on music was Dave Matthews Band in 8th grade. I've gotten tired of them, but it helped with the ladies
