my friend told me that Kenny G makes his kind of music for cash. and he is supposed to be a really good musican.

but I can't stand his songs. my exgirlfriend loved that song from him called Song Bird... it is nice and everything but not very special.

I call his music elevator music, and it sounds nothing like old jazz...

No, he's not jazz. He's a watered down pop imitation of contemporary jazz. Steely Dan, Stevie Wonder or Joni Mitchell are actually light years closer to jazz than Kenny G. will ever be. And they wouldn't even claim to be jazz themselves!
