Formed originally in 2007 as a husband-and-wife acoustic duo with Jason's dynamic guitars and Rebecca's sensational vocals and guitars, the Rutherford's were introduced to the talents of bassist Jerry Haines and drummer Kevin Dager, forming the present Rutherford Rock Project.

Quit Wasting Tape is a collection of sweet sounds inspired by simple inspirations: attraction, affection, rejection, apathy, envy, bliss, and desire.
