My songs are not always about me but others. This song is one I like. It's not as dark as some of the previos ones but it's a preference thing.

It's called "The Aetheist" (someone who believes in no "higher power")

Hey, I'm an aetheist!

I liked it, even though as being one myself, I don't really have the same feelings as that person, but that must be your personal view, so it ok.

dear aetheist,

no offence, but how can anyone be an aetheist ?
aren't you created by someone else ?
this world you're living on, who created it ?
if man created all the things we use and see around the world, then there must be someone else then who created the earth we're sitting on ? man can create even spacecrafts to go to far out planets, but can they create the planet itself ?
man can make oxygen tanks, but can man create the oxygen enough for the whole world to live on ? to make it naturally re-cycleable ?
sure we can make animal clones, but can we ever make a human, as human as we are ? still a vision, but not a reality.

one last thing, if we are the only power on earth, why can't we heal ourselves, and live forever ?

because, there is ...........a GOD !!

Since this is a songwriting forum, I'll just toss this out there lightly - you need to learn what an athiest is before commenting on how atheists are "wrong". Just my opinion - if you want to debate this issue, I can go for days, feel free to send a private message....

sorry folks, that i sound a bit serious here.
i happen to be a music lover..........who believes in God.
so, i'm concerned that a lot of people do not believe in God, that's sad, but each is entitled to his/her own opinion.

yeah, we can argue for days, even centuries ! that won't solve any problem.......until we all face ...............death !! I have seen too many people, in their dying bed, begging to know who is God, cause they are going into the unknown, unless, that is, you know who is God.

atheist is simply greek for "no-god." cviewrest is sort of assuming that an atheist means "man-created-everything"-ist which none of us are I think. Anyway, yes this is a thread, so bung any comments like this is there.

Anyway, I quite like the song. Good work. The thing is we can't really comment on it to music 'cos music really depends on the way it's delivered.
