In some ways he's been dead for a long time. The times I came across him....I always thought he was just lost and one of the strangest people I have come across. In some instances he could be highly intelligent....in other instances he had the mentality of a child.

On one hand....I really can understand his perfectionism and desire to be the best, on the other hand....in the end he lived a tragic life that you knew wasn't going to end well.

For a time he could do no wrong musicially!

Hopefully, he's found some peace.

Michael Joseph Jackson

It's starting to get the Elvis/Lennon feel.

I never sure WTF? is going on with Brian Oxman. Last I heard he was fired during the the trial....and now he's being called the "Family Lawyer" and on CNN within an hour of his being dead was already out talking about Michael abusing drugs and it being another Anna Nicole Smith situation of him being surrounded by enablers.

For the first time ever, I've choked on withheld tears for a celebrity who died.

An icon, he's the reason I fell in love with music.

RIP Michael.

I would just like to say Brian Oxman is FUCKING SCUM!

I don't believe for a second he's on any Jackson family members payroll.

Attorney-client privilege, anyone? It doesn't end upon the death of a client.

If anyone did what he was doing when Lady Satchmo died....I would have dropped every legal hammer possible on him.

Despite the personal issues, I'll always love his music.

Waiting to hear more about this. Until, then, I really think I need to sleep. It still hasn't hit me yet.

I'm not going to watch the sickening media circus.

I'm going to put on Off The Wall and drink some bourbon.

John Norris is still alive and working for MTV and "trying" to look like it was at least 1991 and Nirvana was just hitting?

MTV who probably hasn't shown a Jackson video in 10-15-years is going non-stop!

I wish someone would explain just how MTV was forced to show his videos by Sony or they would pull ever other artist's videos....instead of reimagined crossing racial lines version being spewed.

It's really amazing how many ex-name a position are coming out of the woodworks!

Of course, at least all the other ex-lawyers (so far) not named Brian Oxman understand Attorney-client privilege.

I would just like to take this moment to drop....Non-disclosure agreements....Learn it. Know it. Live it.

I didn't grow up worshipping MJ, but I have read of his intelligence and gentle nature. It's sad that he's gone, as with all people.
