What would you play at Your Funeral!
Ok, suppose your dead, but you cleverly left in your will three songs that you wanted played at your funeral (assuming you want a funeral). What and why would you choose?

Nick Cave - Into My Arms
(i've agreed with my nearest mate to organize it,
(and if he would ever die before me
i'll let play REM - to the one i love
for him..))..

the accent of icelandic words falls in almost all cases on the first syllable. the exceptions are
1.words that have the negative prefix "ó-" meaning "un-" as in "unwilling" eg óhreinindi
2.words that have the prefix "all-" meaning "rather" or "very" eg allfeginn
in these two cases, the accent falls equally on the first two syllables or mainly on the second syllable.

Bach- Air
it is the perfect bittersweet song that still brings tears of joy/ pain, whatever to my eyes. It's emotional, but interperetable. I'd be happy with it, even though it isn't rock.
My rock alternative would be Yes by Homeworld. Be happy i'm in a better place, folks, quit yer whinin.

Tool - Eulogy
or something like that. Great song, and it works at a funeral in an ironic sort of way.

Oh, I'm so not creativ, but it would be Gorecki, lamb
'If I should die this very moment...." really the lyrics, everybody would start crying..., little bit ironic too, since I would already BE death.
Or maybe a party song. "The girl is death, let's have a party yeah!!"

I think it would be funny playing a really happy song at your funeral. Like a song that is really boucey etc. It would give people a pretty different reaction!

Heh... i meant Homeworld by Yes, not vice versa.
Mad World by Gary Jules is a great song, too. It would fit well.
Anyone heard homeworld, by the way? great song

if time permits, someone should make a montage sequence with my old photos and play it at my funeral. maybe I should start it now(collecting photos and scanning pictures and doing the editing in Final Cut Pro). by the time I die, they can show it to whoever comes to my funeral.
let see, back ground music... I made 3 and 1/2 noise/songs/tracks so far, maybe one of those would work... nah, need to make a new one, happier sounding, not so dark, so it feels like I am liberated from this life... it is a happy death.
