Yup mine looks just like that picture (except for my Stonerrock.com sticker ), it's a black ESP LTD F-50. Got it on sale in perfect condition too!

nice.

i've read a few less than pleasant comments in regards to LTDs on other sites but they seemed to be coming from ibanez only players. i've been quite happy with mine as well.

i quite like the shape of the F series as well. not a traditional strat shape but it doesn't look like i need to worry about getting accidentally impaled either

That's funny I got the LTD after being frustrated with an almost untuneable and totally unrepairable Ibanez.

i'm having to assume it had a floating bridge which is a deathly hassle to tune when you have a quality tremolo system and just worthless on lower end models.

otherwise a simple tuning peg swap should have fixed the tuning issue.

either way, i'm glad i'm not the only one with an LTD here (not counting smorgdonkey's ridiculous collection).

I'm not exactly sure what the problem was with the Ibanez but everywhere I took it to said there was nothing they could do with it, either way I'm much happier with the LTD.

Which LTD do you have?

mine is a bit of overkill (especially for the recent past) but i've got an ec-1000 in vintage black hiding under my bed waiting for the next jam room to establish itself (the spring plans fell through, hoping on the fall). either way, it's pretty effing awesome if i do say so myself

Hold on....let me make sure I understand this. The ec-1000 which if I recall....I believe you bought 3-years ago with tax returns....is under your bed and still needing to be established?

Has it even been out of it's case in the last 3-years?

no no no.

the NEW jam room needs to be established. we lost our old one a year ago last weekend. i also only got a bed frame that allowed it to be hidden under there in january hehehe.

the ec-1000 has been at every jam recorded from the time it was purchased in june of 2006 until the last time anything was recorded on may 8, 2008 (including all 3 jams listed in my profile). i'd say i spent about half of my time on the LTD, the other half of the time was split between my bass and my strat.

i feel as though i've gotten my money's worth from it.
