Converting microphone jacks
I have a stereo mike with 2 large jacks (Red n Black) and I have a lead that will convert the 2 jacks to 1. This converter lead works with headphones, will it also work with the mike? Will I damage something if I try? Hope someone can help.

Thanks for that and Hello from the UK, will give it a go. I have just noticed that the inside of the female connecter on the converter cable is coloured green. I wondered if that means it is a line out only or even if it matters.

no worries, and hello from Canada hehehe. as for the colour inside the connector i wouldn't be worried, the colour coding is usually to make complicated sound system setups 'easier'. where you're just using the converter as a converter as opposed to a specific piece in a bigger setup i wouldn't worry.
really the worse that will happen is you'll get nasty feedback coming through your speakers. which is why i recommended dropping all the volumes first hehe.
