how and where to get the best tickets
What are the best sites to find tickets to concerts? I tried a number of sellers, and could use a new one. Which one do you guys prefer?

Well, if there are no replies, here is my take on it. I tried and am now staying away from big names in the seller market such as Ticketmaster and Stubhub. I'm thinking of using a relative newcomer like TicketRight, since they will (have to) cater to customers more with special deals, etc, as they have to capture a share of the market. Any thoughts on this?

I usually try and just pick tickets up at the venue. Extra charges are between small and nil, about the best I can usually hope for.

I guess that's a good idea in terms of prices, but can you find good seats when buying from venues? I think they direct their best tickets to online sites, don't they?

prices online
There is no doubt that the best seats are usually sold online. The simple reason being that artists and managers get a cut of the so-called "premium seats" sales.
I tried a number of online ticket sellers and observed that prices really do not differ that much. So if some site like TicketRight offered extra discounts as you say, I would go for it, since they would probably be the cheapest.
