Yeah, just checked WKCR and unless there's a Latin dance phase of Cecil's career that I don't know about there's no 24 hour marathon.

That was his on the left-hand side project. When I checked before posting the reminder....they were in DA CECIL mode.

Cecil Taylor's April 17th lecture and performance was cancelled as a result of an emergency surgery.

Emergency surgeries are never a good thing....let alone for someone his age.

Cecil just played in Buffalo, NY. I managed to convince one of my best friends to go see him perform...reminding her that this could be the last time.
