Actually I was on this forum a few of years back. Within the last couple of years I got an attitude check. Becoming a father in late 2007 helped with the attitude, ego, and arrogance.

With all of that said, I figured I could show my face around here again. Just with a different user name.

"...At Carnegie Hall" is amazing as well. I don't recall if you originally recommended it to myself. I do know that I found that one after Town Hall.

1. Yeah, that tends to happen. See what happens when you have a horde.

2. As in, Melonius Thunk?

The significant other would love to have a horde but I think I am fine with one. Though I don't think anyone can truly prepare ones self for parenthood I think I am doing alright. Being a father is for sure the best thing I have ever done with my life.

1. Couldn't imagine not having a horde, myself. Technically it would be the significant other that did 99.999999999% of the work.

2. I like how you completely avoided the Melonius Thunk question.

Not that I care if you were Melonious Thunk or anyone else like him....life is way too short and I am way too Ancient to care one way or another.

P.S. If it's a daughter....start working on your shotgun cleaning technique.

Your friend may want to give a couple of Charlie Haden's albums a listen. On both 'Haunted Heart' and 'Always Say Goodbye', Haden and his Quartet West band explore the sound of film noir ... "without being held hostage to it".
