along a similar line, does anybody understand granular synthesis? this is how people stretch out a single note for like 10 minutes - i heard Dj. olive a while ago and he used that term to describe a drone tone of his.
what'd ya think? He's got a massive catalog and it's hard to know where to start.
My fave of his is his 'Huis' 3 inch.
It was good. Some tracks stood out more than others. I've heard a few tracks of his here and there. I don't know how anyone has time to fully absorb a discography that big. I'm sure there is a lot of great tracks sprinkled throughout. I'll check out Huis.
