I'd actually consider it more ambient than drone since SotL seem to change melodies/sounds/structures more often than not, but some of their material is somewhat droney. There hasn't been one album of theirs that I haven't enjoyed. One of their most underrated albums would have to be 'the ballasted orchestra'.
