I'm feeling proud to receive the opportunity to initiate such a great topic. Music theory comprises of all the basics like rhythms,melody, harmony, texture and formation. The advanced music theory comprises of pitch, scales, composition and dynamics without which imagining music is just impossible.If you will like to put more light on this, your replies are most welcome.

thanks for posting. I've come across some people who don't consider having study of music theory important for composing music. for me to initiate music making cannot be done without the help of music theory but excelling in the same can be done independently.what do you have to say about them?

Whatever she happens to be....she can't make up her mind on whether she is a music reviewer, technical analyst, financial reviewer (which was posted on another site) and if the name is Ruhi Sheikh or Jenny Jobs.
