I Need Some New Ambient

Hey all, I'm looking for some new music. I really dig really lush beatless ambient. I like some dark stuff but not really. Here are some artists I already know of.

Ashera
Akumu
Adri
Aphex Twin
Brian Eno
Biosphere
Robert Rich
Thomas Koner
One Mile North
Harold Budd
The KLF
Global Communication
Future Sounds of London
Boards of Canada
William Orbit

Robert Rich is awesome, been listening to a lot of his stuff lately. Equinox turned me on to Matthew Florianz, which I'm really enjoying and also I didn't see Steve Roach on your list!?!. His stuff is lush and generally awesome though you'll have pick and choose since some of his stuff does have beats/percussion. I'd suggest checking out "Mystic Chords and Sacred Places" or if you want some really stark minimalist stuff his Immersion series as well.

I mostly like darker music so for some dark ambient stuff that I really like I would suggest checking out Lustmord (Carbon Core, Other), Wilt (get Radio 1940!), Deathprod (Morals and Dogma)

i've grown quite tired on the vague suggestions over the years, i apologize.

stars of the lid is a great suggestion. if you enjoy that stuff, check out the side projects of Brian Mcbride (as himself) and The Dead Texan.

I'm really into the new Nverxion album on Hypnos Secret Sounds label.

if you're into the whole spatial/isolation type ambient, get Thomas Köner's 'Nuuk'. you can preview all of that album on last.fm.

there's lots of shit to suggest. just not feeling it right now, i apologize.

The Presets are pretty good/fun, they're nowhere near ambient, but you seem to have reached that conclusion for yourself.

why don't you quit spamming and trying to seem naive when the type of music is explained in the title of the thread. You can't even spam correctly. the 'url' ending tag is supposed to be directly after the initial url, not after a word afterwords.

If you're an actual person and not a bot, try youtube.com and last.fm to check out some of the songs.
