from what i understand it's a pretty big hit. something like 800 000 sales in the first week. then again it's a walmart exclusive, easiest way to focus on their target market.

Well I think if I was forced to go into a Walmart I could perhaps find some solace in getting an AC/DC album that was only available there.

Two of them were considered milestones in terms of prodution, so it could even be argued Lange is the ex Glam producer.

Then he's the ex-everything producer, seeing as his resume is extensive and goes well beyond Def Leppard.

I have heard some of the album, and so has everyone else here, whether they have actually heard these particular songs are not. I didn't realize they were bloating theuir CD's like so many other wannabe's that can barely get 30 minutes of material together, but it is going to be a while before I get through all fifteen songs. Someone needs to put their foot down on this sooner or later. If a band is only good for 9 or 10 songs, the capacity of a compact disc should not matter.

I just listened to the free stream on their website and it sounds pretty damn solid.

Evolve or die? Darwin never met AC/DC. “Black Ice,” the band's 15th studio album and first since 2000's “Stiff Upper Lip,” is barely distinguishable from the rip-snorting discs of its mid-'70s heyday. Guitarist Angus Young puts it simply: “We're always going to sound like AC/DC.”

Haha. That's cool.

Pyromania and Hysteria however are his most essential accomplishments in terms of influencing the production of future albums by other artists/bands.
