Apparently the metal part is getting less and less for the band, and esp. on this one. And I think Grutle gave an interview saying as much.

I enjoyed the album... but I kinda miss the Runn era
When Runn came out, I missed the Isa era.

I'm perfectly fine with the band exploring another direction, but I don't want it to go too far into not-so-dark rock.
