The National
Just heard the album Boxer by them. Excellent band, sounds like Interpol in places. Weird that I've not heard more hype about them considering how good they are.
Anyone else dig?

I hear their song Fake Empire everywhere, I like it quite a bit. Haven't given the rest of the album much of a listen, though.

Giving the album a first listen now. So far its decent. Mistaken for Strangers is probably the best track so far.

Heard a few songs by them. They were - along with Modest Mouse - one of the opening bands on R.E.M.'s U.S. Tour. Still haven't actually checked them out properly but they have piqued my curiosity.

I heard Boxer last year, and didn't really care for it. Just a couple of decent songs but nothing special, at least for me.

I dig it so far, good stuff. I have to agree a little bit with Orwell Huxley, though. It's good.

Well, finally checked them out and they're all right but I'm not spending money on their albums.
