Question Hole - Courtney Love - Female artists

Not many people talk about Hole anymore. Courtney was 1 of the only female artists that i liked. Hard, Depressing, slutty everything you want in a female rock artist!

Does anyone know any female artists out there now that can rock like Courtney did?

L7 Rocked harder than Hole.

Babes in Toyland Rocked harder than L7.

I liked Pretty on the inside (Holes first album) after that they didn't really impress me.

I haven't heard much of Courtney Love or Hole, so I can't really say anything about her music.
Oh and... I always enjoy listening to Pj Harvey

I was happy to forget about her. She has almost no talent whatsoever, but I do wish she had at least been better to look at.

Cool

L7 is good! But courtney seemed more depressed and that always makes good music

Besides, I would think courtney did more drugs than all of L7 combined.

What does that have to do with anything?

Well, unfortunately it means some of the greatest musicians and banss were addicted heavily. And they produced GREAT music due to the effects of drugs on their minds..

The Doors, Sublime, Nirvana the list goes on and on.

The B.S. Charlie (As in, the person who started all this) Parker Theory.

The problem with this simpleton theory is that a lot more bands/musicians who were or on drugs released a whole lot more shit than those who happened to be drug users who released great recordings.

And the no talents like Courtney/Sublime don't even fit the second part.....and that's beside the fact WTF? would you know how much drugs L7 combined took in comparison to no talent whatsoever Courtney Love.

3/4ths of the Doors were not would be considered even half-assed drug users....and Morrison didn't become a serious drug user until a good deal of their best songs had already been written and/or recorded.

Cobain
didn't become a serious Heroin addict until after Nevermind.

Only one member of the half-assed no talents of Sublime had a drug problem.

As in, you really have absolutely no idea WTF? you're talking about.
