Opeth - Watershed
The two songs leaked sound really impressive. Not that I have a very unbiased opinion regarding the band though.
Typical Opeth except a couple of parts.

They're not bad at all. A bit of funky oddness (for Opeth) in the middle of one of the songs. I am definitely looking forward to the release.

Yeah I heard the two songs they are pretty ridiculous, theres a little bit more clean vocals than normal but other than that I am definately lookin foward to june 5.

Its leaked and is about equal to GR in terms of their discography imo. Maybe a bit better but there is also some awful singing on this one.

Well that first song was a little unexpected for a leadoff track, that's for sure...since I am getting ready to head out it will only be a few tracks in before I am out the door. Like most of their other material I need a little time to digest it. It's certainly Opeth.
For the record I do like Ghost Reveries, although it isn't my favorite. Lately my most played of their albums seems to be the atypical Damnation. I'm gettin' old, man.

So fans of Opeth, how does Watershed rate against their previous efforts? I've only heard a few tracks here and there and was wondering if this would be the place to start, as the myspace mangles of Watershed sound good.

Still Life is probably their best album overall. BWP or Damnation also would be good places to start.
