Best Live Bands
Ive seen over a 100 bands live. Some small locals and other touring bands. Some of the best I have ever seen live are:
Muse (Great sound and light show)
Blue October (Perfect sound - awesome crowd)
Anberlin (Just awesome)
HelloGoodBye (Fun guys... had a pillow fight on stage with fans at end of set)
Cobra Starship (Lots of energy)
Monty Are I (Crazy energy)
The Spill Canvas (Just plain sexy -- in a completely non-gay way)
What other really good live sets have you all seen?

Old School....I am probably the only one around these parts to have seen them all.
Zeppelin
Stones - Mick Taylor era (although, they're still better live than 98% of most bands today. Their recordings are another story.)
Pink Floyd
The Who w/ Keith Moon
Hendrix - with whomever....even your next door neighbor who can only play the triangle.
U2
Genesis w/ Peter Gabriel
Allman Brothers w/ Duane Allman
Iron Maiden w/ either Paul Di'Anno or Bruce Dickinson.
Judas Priest
Bob Marley
Queen
Van Halen - Diamond Dave....'nuff said.
Metallica w/ Cliff Burton
Clash
Yes w/ Rick Wakeman
Bruce Springsteen - back before he started singing with the fake Woody Guthrie accent....which is going on 13-years, now.
Grateful Dead
Ramones
Sabbath - of course, I mean with Ozzy and early 70's....before he and they just became a joke....now it's only more so.
I will get around to current bands when I have time later.

Maybe its the venue I saw them in cause no band can sound good in a basketball arena, but I wasn't very impressed with Maiden when I saw them a month ago. The set list was AMAZING and Bruce sounded great, but the whole show felt kinda cheesy.

A month ago? I am talking about back in the day when they still smoked....now they're up to 20 guys playing guitar and they've turned into Spinal Tap.

LOL I'll never be able to listen to another song by them and NOT think of Spinal Tap.
