The Magic I.D.


The Magic I.D. is a quartett conformed by Kai Fagaschinski (clarinet), Margareth Kammerer (vocals & guitars), Christof Kurzmann (vocals, G3 and lloopp), Michael Thieke (clarinet) being under Erstwhile's new sub-label ErstPop.

It is really hard to describe how their debut Till My Breath Gives Out sounds like, maybe something like Talk Talk on their Spirit Of Eden and Laughing Stock's era, combined with a little Billie Holliday and Christof Kurzmann/Ami Yoshida's A S O? maybe. The only thing I know for sure is that I been into this a lot lately.

I'm sorry I'm not sure if I got the last sentence. Are you saying it was a bad idea to open that sub-label? Or am I totally misunderstanding the point?
