Surprisingly enough, it isn't as terrible a release as it is made out to be.

They lost lost me after Clayman with the songwriting trend a little more toward nu-metal, but hey I'll check it out. Looks like I have to wait a bit...nothing from Soulseek just yet.

Well, I have heard it now. I just really think their pre-2000 stuff is much better. All their songs are downtuned beyond what my ears can tolerate. If they had stayed in C I might have liked more of it, I don't know.

I don't really consider this new one that NU metal i mean reroute and soundtrack definately had nu metal aspects but i mean atleast to me i just think of nu metal being no lead guitar everythings rhythm which is not the case with in flames they almost always have a lead and a rhythm part besides reroute as much and soundtrack. I agree that this is no where near as good as anything pre clayman but Its not bad either. I mean yeah Alias is one of the worst songs on the cd but at the acoustic interlude i think around 3 20 its almost like their old classic guitar parts they did. Also theyre are some alright solos and stuff I think you just have to look for the good instead of looking for something to bitch about cause they sold out.
