Musically I like a few songs, but IMO they had alot of filler going.
As far as the poll goes...hot? Not hot? The songs I like are hot. But the rest? Hard to tell.

Cobain's estate made more money than Elvis'....but that mostly had to do with Courtney selling off a quarter of the rights.

Have no idea about posters alone, however, Cobain's estate made $8 million more than Elvis'....and when you consider about 85% of that was from that one sale of the rights....it's not saying much. So, unless Courtney plans to continue to do that....that shouldn't happen again.

Do you understand what I mean by Estate or is something being lost in the translation?

HOLY SMOKES!! You two are actually on the same page!!!
I just meant that for the most part the three bands had huge groups of fans and although many people liked all three, for the most part, a GnR fan wouldn't be so much into Nirvana and a Nirvana fan wouldn't be so much into Metallica...yet all three of them were in their own way bucking the trend and making their own waves...although it is difficult to see where any bands were influenced by GnR it is/was easy to see the influence of the other two.
I'm getting off track a bit there but my main point was that one of the three might not have had the impact were it not for the other two also eroding the stuff that was current at the time. It was a three pronged attack as they would say at West Point.

1. Even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
2. Not sure how that has anything to do with your "know thy instrument" comment.
