Yeah, I can't find any pictures, either.

First

Vladimir Horowitz Concerts, 1975/76:
Schumann - Concerto Without Orchestra (Grand Sonata No. 3 in F Minor, Op. 14)
Scriabin - Sonata No. 5, Op. 53

and now

Mendelssohn - Violin Concerto in E Minor and "Italian" Symphony

I always feel ignorant posting in this thread, because I'm never sure which details of what I'm listening to I should post, and how I should write it out. If only it were as simple as the artist and recording, with all those other genres.

-16 points for being around here several years and not being able to notice something as basic as....

composer, composition, performer....and if applicable orchestra and conductor.

curious has anyone listened to all of morton feldman's string quartet 2 in one sitting without any stops?

depending on the version you have, that is. the one on hatology is on 4 cds and around 5.5 hours long. the one on mode is on 4 cds or 1 dvda and is over 6 hours. the rumors are for that version the they considered using catheters during its recording. even considering doing that is hardcore, baby!

by the by....my favorite feldman story is his being told he should compose music for the everyday man on the street....and as he looked down from the floor of the building they were on....he sees Jackson Pollack of all people passing bye.
