Why do you think he needs a yearly 7-month hiatus? Although, with each passing year it's getting harder and harder for him to keep up the T-R persona.

Charlemagne Palestine - Strumming Music

If you haven't heard this....you won't be disappointed!

Seeing him live is an experience. Besides his playing, which has been known to get bloody....there are all the teddy bears (which he takes with him on tour) that are all over and under the piano....and his bottle of Cognac is never far from him.

Ludwig Spohr - Clarinet Concertos 1-4 - Karl Leister - Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos - SWR Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra

Sphor was a violinist and cranked out somewhere around 170 compositions....including 9 symphonies, 16 Violin Concertos (the most by anyone of his era), 36 String Quartets...and he even was the one who created the chinrest for the Violin and even got a shoutout from Gilbert & Sullivan in the Mikado along with Bach and DA KING....

All that....and it's these, his Clarinet Concertos which are best known by him.

And they're damn good, BABY!

Bach - The Art of Fugue - Robert Hill

This includes the unfinished Fugue which Bach may or may not have died while in the middle of writing it out.

Haven't heard those pieces on harpsichord yet. Interesting?

It's DA MAN....it's always interesting. I am one of those that happen to believe it was meant for the keyboards....and specifically the Harpsichord.

Anyhoo, that is one of the two of three best recordings of The Art of Fugue.

George Crumb
& John Cage - Black Angels (Image I) & String Quartet in Four Parts - The Concord String Quartet

This is my favorite version of Black Angels (Image I).

This gives you an idea what the piece is like.
