My final contribution to this thread will include the info that according to album credits Dweezil Zappa played the "left side guitar solo" on Winger's version of Purple Haze.

Betrayal?

No, too harsh.

Yep, that is Dweezil on the Winger version. His primary influence at that time was Eddie Van Halen, and it shows. His dad called it the "freeze-dried" approach to playing, but let Dweezil carry on and find his own way. It took him a good few years before he started playing melodies, and he's now an excellent guitar player.

YO!

I normally wouldn't do this....

but since I was sent so many pms on this subject (even a few "fans" dropped pms)....I would like to first thank those of you that dropped a pm on Satchmo. Satchmo doesn't forget and especially not something like that.

2. After 12-hours of surgery The Black Sheep of an Aunt is still above ground,

BABY!

She still has to have a Gamma Knife Surgery for the residual cells from the largest tumor and a Fourth Surgery for the smaller tumor they could not access today....but they got the major one....as in, 9cm....which is 2cm's bigger than the one removed 5-years ago. As in, imagine if you will....tumors the size of an orange and than two smaller ones as big as a plum and grape....

WTF?

I can't remember when I last slept....actually we all know that isn't true but it gets the point across.

No stop bogarting The Single Malt.

Great to hear that your Aunt is in good shape! :

Thank you....although, I somehow lost my wedding ring. I rarely take it off (basically only in the shower or swimming), but did so before going into see my Aunt in recovery....I washed my hands with the antiseptic solution. For some reason instead of giving it to to Lady Satchmo, horde, Satchmos, peons, SHADOWS....I put my ring in my pants pocket. It must have fallen out one of the many times I sat down throughout the night.

While not quite Cracker Jack box level....it wasn't far from it.

Pretty much every nanometer from the point I took it off has been searched by an armada. Put out a huge reward that would choke two elephants....and NADA. God help whatever thieving scum attempts to put it on Ebay.

Going into Valentines Day and no FUCKING wedding ring....and Feb. 15h isn't far away, either.

Trying to find anything even semi-in-the-same-galaxy as a replacement....I don't think they even come close to make anything so damn cheap, anymore.

Everyone is into that bling B.S.
