it wouldn't have been half as bad if every fucking dude i ran into back in 1999 didn't keep going on and on about how awesome of a movie it was only to inform me that 'the first rule of fight club is don't talk about fight club' when i tried to find out what it was about while they kept gushing about it in relative terms.
for the 3 people who haven't seen it yet - it's a bunch of disenfranchised idealists lead by a schizophrenic dude who think that beating the crap out of each other is the best way to take down the man. it's a pretty gay movie (and i don't mean that in the bigoted sense, just there's a WHOLE LOT of man on man action in that movie)
