exactly. and toot toot =
i'm also 100% positive the drummer/vocalist would totally back that band name for public use as well . but i don't think the other drummer would go for it. and the bass player is partial to giv'r but he only smokes a pipe (like a legitimate old man tobacco pipe)

The other drummer? You have two of them?
And I believe there was an 80s hit called Toot Toot.
EDIT: I think I got it now! Toot Toot is a slang for Bong?

Sure, without experimentation rock would've never survived and Glam and monster solos and riffs and crazy sounds would never have been invented. But that doesn't mean that every experiment is great. And neither are all old concepts bad. I guess it just comes down to what one likes. I love listening to AC/DC, and they always have the same song structure, always the same lenght and are always predictable.
Bands have split over the argument whether to try something new or stick with the old sound. IMO most artists are only good at one specific type of music.

As much as you're over the board....I am surprised you never saw it before....especially since I have mentioned Guitar master panbients world renowned band every year in each Bah, Humbug. He and they do the yearly song and soundtrack for each Satchmopalooza.

I never check the Bah, Humbug thread. Too much too read and I don't really give a damn. In fact there's entire boards I never check.
So is it now a Popeye-style pipe or a bong? I'm sure panbient frequently uses a bong.

yeah i'm more of a bong guy than pipe. although i like both. the toot, toot thing isn't slang so much as the sound created when you release the choke and inhale on the bong and generate a slight whistling effect.
having a toot is also slang for smoking (regardless of method)
and yeah technically there are 2 drummers now, although they don't play at the same time. the 2nd one is a guy the bass player and i went to college with, he's really good, studied at PIT, played for crowds of thousands, fears the unknown to the point of believing in conspiracy theories he finds on the net because due to the fact that they haven't been unproven we can't say they're not true unless we want to acknowledge that we're sheep conditioned to accept the lies of modern society for the benefit of the evil overlords that control money or something like that.
if you're honestly curious about what we sound like i'd recommend part1 from under my user name, part 2 is the 2nd half of the jam but the first bit is a little more straight ahead.
as for AC/DC they're one of those bands that i love hearing on the radio when i'm on a road trip but i don't own any of their music and probably never will.
and the worldwide satchmopalooza action is always a very humbling experience.

What's PIT?
Anyway, I'll check out your music sometime. Always wanted to, but I guess I was too busy posting.
Well at least you don't dislike AC/DC. I'm suspicious of 'rock fans' who dislike AC/DC!

1. While I have their records....at least through Back in Black.... Brian Johnson is no Bon Scott....you really can only listen to them in a car or at some sort of college party. So basically, it's in a car for Satchmo.

2. This year's Satchmopalooza soundtrack is getting great reviews.

Bon Scott was great, but I prefer Johnson. BIB isn't that great though. Razor's Edge ALL THE WAY!!!
