I think we all are forgetting that anyone can play a cover tune, but you will not get the respect you need as a musician by playing others songs. I formed this group to showcase the original songs i wrote so people could enjoy a live performance of the recorded material. i don't know about you, but our live versions blow the recording away.
Never thought of it like that but makes a lot of sense.Ever had the feeling that you could have improved on something that you just played live.example guitar solo. it happens to me constantly and then you get great ideas when you practice.
Listened to Moe with In A Big Country "good cover of another 80's classic"
we record everything. i really don't play for any reason besides playing. some of the guys i jam with want to do more but i've been more than clear a few times that i have no interest in doing 'something' with music. so where i own all the gear we use to play i get the last say as to how things go. they're all free to do their own things also though.

i was in a band like that before.it was called the Sacandaga soldiers. The drummer owned all the equipment except our guitars. i have always played Marshall half stacks , i have 2 they kick ass but hurt your back when transporting so i have used a small Fender combo to play out a couple of times it works fine but just doesn;t have the Marshall sound.to make a long story short.he thought he called the shots and as result in no longer in a band. also he sucked on drums and was the weakest link in the chain
Listened to Rob Zombie with The Red Groovy "he is a great artist in that he has transcended all genres b"
I see once again Satchmo is stumped for words. He probably hasn't witnessed that much concern and that many prayers since...
...when was it when they blew up that silly zeppelin?
1. That will be the day, BABY!
2. More along the lines of being away for several weeks and not having any idea WTF? any of his posts in relation to this are about....especially since barely anything was noticed about the band on RM beforehand.

you don't like us and everyone is entitled to their opinions, but there are others that do. sending a picture of a rabbit with a pancake is kinda silly for a response.i will only concern myself with the positives and not the negatives can you understand.
To not like you would imply I even know WTF? you and your band happen to be and than caring enough to not like you....both of which are not even close to accurate.
This thread and your posts just makes no sense.
