I swear, at what's now three years in a row, this Christmas trend is getting really creepy. R.I.P. to Derek Bailey, James Brown, and Oscar Peterson.

Another article on the passing of the great Mr Peterson.

Mr Peterson was to be presented with the 2008 Founder's Award by the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame/ Le Panthon des Auteurs et Compositeurs Canadiens on March 1. I'm sure that together with a posthumous presentation ceremony, there will be a tribute.

While he really didn't do much for me personally....have to respect his technique.
